Biography

David Richard

David Richard is a pianist, educator, examiner and author whose career has taken him across Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Asia.

He studied in France and at the Royal College of Music in London, working with distinguished teachers including Denis Pascal, Neil Immelman, John Blakely and Yonty Solomon.

Alongside an international performing career, David has devoted much of his professional life to music education. He has taught in leading schools and institutions in France, the United Kingdom and Dubai, and since 2018 has served as an examiner and syllabus contributor for Trinity College London.

David is also the author of several educational resources for pianists and teachers, including Daily Drills, The First Few Notes and the Piano Missions series, publications designed to develop note reading, musicianship and confidence in young pianists.

Known for combining classical tradition with accessibility and warmth, David continues to perform, teach and examine internationally while developing new educational projects for the next generation of musicians.
